Biological activity	Pterosin B is an indanone found in bracken (Pteridium aquilinum) and an inhibitor of salt-inducible kinase 3 (Sik3) signal transduction. Pterosin B prevents chondrocyte hypertrophy and osteoarthritis in mice by inhibiting Sik3.
